School is winding down and OMG Memorial Day weekend is very early this year! I am dreaming of all the red, white and blue!

• I am stocking up on all waterproof jewelry. I love the brand Bracha. These drop earrings are so gorgeous and I am preordering this amazing red heart bracelet but if you are impatient there are several more colors available right now.

• In a surprise of all surprises I do not own a red, white and blue swimsuit. I love this striped scoop neck one piece from Minnow and I would pair it with this amazingly fun fringe mini skirt from Cadets. I own the fringe skirt both short and long and get my moneys worth in a very short period of time.

• Tkees have been a summer staple for years. I am loving this festive red pair of flip flops that you can definitely dress up or down.

• I’ve been living an anklet girl summer for the past few summers and I have had my eye on this Jenny Bird anklet bangle and it had been sold out this year but I finally caught it in stock!

• My friend alerted me to this Nordstrom oversize poplin popover shirt, you can never have too many “easy” white shirts and this one is just that.

• I would pair the shirt above with this super cute Hill House wrap skirt in this new bandana scarf print.

• One of my favorite woven ruffle summer purses is still available on Nordstrom Rack and the price is unbelievable. It is a dead ringer for a much more expensive version.

• The Salt and Stone Saffron and Cedar scent is crazy good. I don’t know how I’m just now trying it but I picked up the deodorant , and now I must have the shower gel and the body cream. I am super picky about scents and this one is just so clean and subtle.

• I am a huge fan of OHHO THC seltzers. They have the best flavors and I love the relaxing feeling you get after drinking one. Their new Cantaloupe and Wildflower Honey flavor is the best one yet. I want to pair it with Trader Joes truffle potato chips and have the happy hour combo of my dreams!

• Nordstrom Rack jewelry has some great deals. I was surprised to see Electric Picks bangles for half off, this amazing turquoise statement ring, and this stacked band waterproof ring for such amazing prices!

• This blue J Crew link bracelet is so cool and different and I also love this Logan Tay disc beaded necklace.

• My favorite Julia Amory Chloe Caftan is on sale plus an extra 25% off for Memorial Day Weekend. I absolutely love the blue color!!!

• How many woven purses is too many? I love both the color and the style of this one by ALC and it is over 50% off.

• Every wardrobe needs a trusty pair of espadrilles for the summer. These made in Spain crochet Mary janes would go with absolutely everything and are included in J Crew’s 40% off sale!

• Levis 501 90’s look good on everyone and have definitely withstood the jean styles test of time. I think we all need this light pair for our summer wardrobes.

• When I saw these straw mules from H&M they were giving major Margaux vibes for 1/8th of the price.

• Clarins sends me the sweetest PR packages and two things I will be repurchasing are the Lip Perfector sheer lip gloss in color 01 and the Extra Firming Energy Moisturizer . I have been using the gloss for months and still loving it just as much but the moisturizer is new to me and it smells heavenly and goes on great under makeup.

• I love a cute leather pouch to throw in my purse and this one from Madewell is the most gorgeous color. I feel like there is just something more sophisticated about a leather pouch to throw in your purse.

• I gasped when I found these Taupe sandals because they are a dead ringer for last summer’s sold out Jenny Kayne sandals.

• Pool season is just around the corner for us and I just refreshed my favorite striped pool towels. I love that they are easily recognized and you never have to second guess which are yours.

• Stanley just created a new flip straw tumbler and the amount of times I spill mine with the straw tells me I need to convert to this model.

• I just tried this new to me electrolyte and it is delicious. I tried the Watermelon Lime flavor and now want to try all of the others.

• My most used cooler last summer for pool days was hands down my Corkcicle backpack. I love the size and it is so convenient when my hands are full with everything else.

1. A classic pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses adds a certain element of chic to any outfit. I love the classic Wayfarer style and own them in both black and tortoise. These sunglasses have been a fashion staple for over forty years so they are guaranteed to stand the test of time. I also love a black lens with gold frame. These round sunglasses are so flattering and look good on any face shape. I also have a soft spot for the classic Ray-Ban Aviators.

2. Every woman should have a classic white button down in their closet. My personal favorite is the Julia Amory Carolyn shirt, which is sadly so popular it is currently sold out online. I believe you can call her stores and still get it shipped to you! My second choice would be The Shirt by Rochelle Behrens which can be purchased at Tuckernuck. All white button downs are not created equal and you want one that is made of structured fabric and sans pocket.

3. Jellies are everywhere. They came last summer and have showed up again with a vengeance. I think you will see jelly flip flops dressed up and down this season. I love the silhouette (and color) of this Steve Madden pair. I also love the color choices and style of this Madewell x Melissa collaboration thong jelly sandal. I own and love these Melissa jelly fisherman sandals and this similar style fisherman jelly that J Crew makes. These Dolce Vita jelly sandals are so flattering on the foot and I love the tortoise color.

4. Beaded jewelry is in in in. I personally own the Baublebar Joan necklace in several colors and they will be heavy hitters in my summer wardrobe. I love how it instantly adds to a white tee and jeans outfit. I love it layered with this semi precious stone necklace or you can wear both alone as well. I just recently got this beaded necklace in the beautiful yellow from Baublebar and cannot wait to style it. I also found this beautiful Kenneth Jay Lane statement necklace on Nordstrom Rack for a great price.

5. I own this woven tote with leather straps from J Crew and wore it all last summer and plan to again this summer. This one from Gap is very similar, they also make a super colorful option that looks like Miu Miu. I love this brown crochet tote and the different striped color ways on this one from J Crew.

• My Mariella Villar Straw Rancher Hat is probably my most used item of spring so far. I love that I can change the cord for a different look depending on my outfit. • I saw these Izipizi crystal sunglasses on someone on Instagram and I can’t stop thinking about them. I also love the price!

• I have needed a wet bag in my arsenal for some time and I recently stumbled upon this one that is of course functional but also super cute!

• We are still accessorizing for the pool and beach right?! This cute little set of waterproof rings and this layered waterproof anklet are perfect poolside accessories.

• If you are traveling out of the country this summer you need this MZ Wallace passport wallet. I love that you can organize your passport and wallet all in one space. I feel like a cute passport cover is kind of pointless just to have to keep removing it every time you need to show it so this one adds cute plus function.

• I have been wanting an oversized Daily Drills crewneck sweatshirt and this latest drop with the ombre colors is the coolest I’ve seen yet.

• This Mango striped strapless dress has the most gorgeous color way and could be dressed up or down. I love a good versatile, easy to reach for summer dress.

It is that time of year again to spoil the special ladies in your life!

I have put together some of my personal favorites and things I would like to receive for Mother’s Day to make it easy for you.

I love the concept behind Dorsey and the ability to have access to “fine” jewelry at a better price point. I received a Dorsey emerald eternity band last year for Mother’s Day and it is so special to me. I think these 18K gold Moissanite drop earrings, this lab grown White Sapphire bracelet, or this Moissanite and Emerald three row band would make an amazing special gift to last a lifetime.

If you are looking. more for gifts that pamper I love the idea of a robe and some spa items and/or a gift card for a spa experience. I bought this fun striped waffle robe from World Market and am pleasantly surprised at the quality. It is a little lighter than your normal waffle robe which I think will be perfect for summer. I am absolutely smitten with the Vanilla Verve scent from Cyclar so this full set looks amazing to try all the. yummy products.

I have loved MZ Wallace for some time and am really love their new arrivals. They have added some really fun seasonal colors to their normally traditional color palette. I would love a cute little metallic silver snakeskin card wallet with some cash or a gift card to her favorite store and I also love this accordion cosmetic case with an added Sephora, Ulta, or Blue Mercury gift card included.

If you want to go the personalized route you can never go wrong with a personalized tote filled with her favorite things. Think face masks, wine, chocolate.

Baublebar has some wonderful personalized options and I especially love this birthstone necklace and this birthstone ring.

I have been wearing Matisse shoes for years. I could not believe the quality for the price. Matisse is sold online at retailers like Tuckernuck and Gap so they are also vetted by some big retailers. Every pair I have owned have held up nicely and are repeated season after season.

Steve Madden is so back. If you are around my age (41) we rocked the black elastic clunks for all of our middle and early high school years. I will say they have upped their style game quite a bit since that time. I am not sure how they get away with it, but I also notice they are very strong in the “look for less” game. They have a dead ringer for the Hermes Chypre sandals which I own a few of, and I think you will also notice several more great designer look a likes. Steve Maddens quality is very high and the price is right.

If you have been following along for some time you know I share quite a few Dolce Vita shoes. I cannot believe the price for the quality. They do sandals, heels, jellies so very well. I love the jelly sandals pictured above that I purchased earlier this Spring and cannot believe how much they look like a much more expensive designer version. I also just bought the best little raffia heeled mules that I will wear all Spring and Summer. In my opinion, Dolce Vita does have the best “designer like” raffia shoes. I feel like some you could buy for cheaper just don’t hold up, but these definitely do.

This is my latest shoes that won’t break the bank find. I have been filtering the H&M new arrivals to the “Premium Selection” and wow I am so impressed. All of the sandals, heels and sneakers in this section are real leather or suede and you will not believe the price. I bought the leopard mules and they look at least three times the price I paid for them. I will say the one downfall for this brand is that the sizes do sell out very quickly after being released.

• These Amazon Bezel earrings look just like Dorsey for a small fraction of the price.

• These HART Blue Enamel Bezel Earrings are at the top of my Mother’s Day wish list. I have a similar pair from Baublebar but these are much more of a statement.

• Bandana is all the rage right now and I love the color of this Lost Pattern reversible bucket hat.

• Baublebar has been a jewelry go to for a while now in my wardrobe. Their summer new arrivals do not disappoint. These fish statement earrings are so fun and I love this fish charm collar necklace and this longer turquoise beaded necklace. This shell statement ring is a great addition and different from your normal gold and silver.

• Gap and Dôen have been collaborating the past few years and I think a lot of Gap’s staples are channeling the “Dôen” look. This yellow peplum blouse could be styled a number of ways.

• I have been loving all the striped pants I’m seeing and these linen pants from Boden have so many fun colors to play off of.

• Amazon has so many good options for fun jewelry. I don’t like to spend a lot of money on colorful acrylic bangles so these are a great price and they have so many different color options.

• My love for TJ Maxx purses knows no bounds. This canvas tote with straw handles is so cute and would be so versatile all summer long.

• These dainty Schutz sandals are such a great price and fit the bill for that one shoe you pack to go with all of your vacations outfits.

• I love the color and shape of the Le Specs Work It sunglasses.

• Hunza G has been one of my favorite swimwear brands for some time. They are very well made and the striped version is one of my go to's.

• I have been lusting for a Coniglio Palm Beach ruffle pareo and this color way may be the winner. I love that you can also dress it up with a tank or white button down.

• I just bought a set of these chunky statement bangles from Amazon and will be wearing them all summer long.

• Gap has totally come back to their classic roots and I love the shape of this crochet beach tote.

• I just stocked up on this Isle of Paradise sunscreen during the Sephora sale. We went through a whole bottle on spring break. It smells so good!

• I love setting a table and refreshing my entertaining closet for spring. These seashell placemats are such a fun addition to any table scape.

• I have similar melamine plates to these and they are one of my most used. You will not believe the price.

• World Market has so many great things right now. This serving bowl and these salad servers are so fun.

• These striped napkins make me so happy.

• I have bought two different color ways in this flatware. The price is great and they look awesome in a place setting.

I like to use these sales to restock things I am out of and I also save a list of things that I want to try and wait for these sales so I can have a discount.

I bought a Rhode Peptide Lip Tint when I ordered the new caffeine mask and I am loving it. I have the color “Jelly Bean” and it is a pretty sheer pink. I ordered two more one in the same color and the color “Ribbon” to try.

Clarins sent me the cutest PR package with their Lip Perfector Sheer Lip gloss and it is an amazing non sticky hydrating lip product. I am almost out of the color 01 so I am restocking.

You guys know my love for Sarah Creal concealer. I have been consistently using for over a year. The brush is also fantastic and a must have. She just came out with Face Flex Color Corrector Instant Under Eye Brightener and I cannot wait to try. I have hereditary dark circles and anything that can help sign me up.

Because of my love for her concealer I have to try the Back of The Cab Volumizing & Tubing Mascara. I have been using the Kosas Soul Gazer for over a year and I really love it but this one is a tubing mascara so I’m interested to try when I do a more glam makeup look.

*I may have ordered too many lip glosses. Is that a thing? I also wanted to try Sarah Creal's No Further Questions High Glide Peptide Lip Gloss. I did get it in a more nude color instead of the pinks I normally chose. I’m thinking of a bronzed tan, minimal makeup and this gloss to top it off!

I am loving the Rhode Pocket Blush Buildable Hydrating Cream Blush in color Suntan. It is sold out and as I’m hitting publish the color I got during the sale “Piggy” has also sold out. Personally, I would not be scared of the "Juice Box" or "Spicy Marg" that is still available. I love a statement blush on a good tan.

Molly Sims can do no wrong in my book. She and her bestie Emese Gormley are skincare gurus and my favorite podcast hosts of Lipstick on the Rim. She just launched her Xtreme Glow Dewy Peptide Plumping Serum and I’ve been itching to try. I think her experience being a super model has taught her all the tricks and I know she doesn’t steer us wrong with products. Her line YSE Beauty is small but mighty.

I ran out of time before our spring break trip to Grand Cayman and bought this Daily Defense Body Mist SPF 30 Sunscreen in the gauntlet at my TJ Maxx. It was $9.99 and the expiration date was good so I rolled with it. It smelled so good my husband was like this is the sunscreen I want to use all summer. Well he didn’t have to tell me twice I have four on the way! *I think it is sold out as of right now but you have to try if you see it in stock in person!

The Le Chouchou Exfoliating + Softening Peptide Lip Balm was my one impulse purchase. I keep seeing it everywhere and I have about one ounce of self control. I got the clear and the Chateau Rose. I will report back. The good news is I have zero excuses to have chapped lips. I will be sprinkling lip products in every nook and cranny of my home.

My sisters’ wedding was magical to say the least. I actually need to revisit and do a whole post on all the details. Just think chateau in Bordeaux, church from the 18th century. Literally magic at every turn, She’s a hosting genius and not one detail was missed. She had the chateau stocked with Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt Candle. This scent is heaven combined with nostalgia from the best four days so I always get a few when I can get them for 20% off.

Last but not least my yearly purchase of Moroccan Oil Luminous Hairspray Medium Hold. I think the Nordstrom bundle price in July is better but I am totally out so I need to restock. I don’t do my hair often but when I do this is the best natural hold hairspray I have ever tried. No crunch and the most amazing smell. The bottle lasts me forever I go through just one a year.

It feels like summer here in Colorado!

Being an airline family we have no idea where we are going for spring break. Makes for a little anxiety and a lot of adventure! We have discussed Grand Cayman to Whistler so we need to nail that down tonight!

Clinique has had this sun kissed face gel available in Europe and now we can get it in the US. I ordered some yesterday to try.

I am loving this shape and color of this Madewell crossbody satchel and with 25% off you can’t beat the price! Would be a great purse to take on vacation because you can use the strap during the day and then use it with dressier outfits at night.

I have been wanting an Alex Mill weekend tote for some time. These stripes may have just sealed the deal.

I got a new phone this week so I know I will have it for a long while. I am finally going to get one of these super cute Baublebar phone covers. There are so many different colors I need to make a decision while they are having their friends and family sale!

I am going to spruce up our downstairs back patio and when I came across this World Market pillow I knew immediately they would be perfect. I think I am going to pair a couple of them with this cute blue and green (are you surprised?)

I love this rattan pedestal planter and think they would add so much to a patio.

Setting a table makes me so happy. Easter…yes! Random Tuesday….also yes! and I love seeing the look on my kids faces when they get excited about a “fancy” meal. I could not believe these Vietri plate dupes from World Market. What a great everyday plate. I love these cute lobster napkins for a red, white and blue table scape. These glasses are great and I love that they are a little thicker because we still have some drops and spills occasionally. I swear by my Amazon bamboo flatware. The price is right and they add so much to a table scape. Amazon is also my go to for gingham tablecloths. I have a few colors and they wash up well!

I cannot get enough of Electric Picks jewelry. Price point is amazing and these classic studs are an everyday year round perfect pair of earrings.

I love the versatility of this Roxanne Assoulin heart necklace. I have the chunky gold one but love how the cord makes it more dainty. Wear it long like pictured or double wrapped.

I love a good cropped tee and it can be so flattering if it hits at the right spot. Price is right for this boyfriend jersey relaxed cropped tee from J Crew and it looks promising!

Fringe is everywhere!!!!!! This Terry fringe mini from Cadets is sure to be a most worn item in your closet. Perfect for a coverup, and also worn as pictured as a casual skirt. I love pieces like this that can work overtime.

It took me a minute to lean into the jelly trend but I bought these in a matte camel which felt more mature. They come in so many colors and are so comfortable!

I have this style bracelet in silver and now it comes in two awesome resin colors. Such a fun piece to throw on to add some color to your outfit.

I saw a few influencers who normally don’t shop at Banana Republic share this stunning colorful tulip bag and I immediately ordered. Such a fun summer bag and I love that these colors play so well with so many other colors.

Never have I ever ordered anything faster than this blue gingham Zara trench. This is a showstopper.

I ordered this Rhode caffeine reset mask and have used it twice and I love it. The website description said “a cup of coffee for your face.” I also bought the peptide lip boost and it is a great hydrating gloss. I have been putting it on before bed and waking up with hydrated lips.

These YSE Beauty eye masks are the best eye masks I have ever tried. They were out of stock for a while and I panicked but I keep checking and they are back! They are not cheap price per wear but great for vacation and special occasions where you need a little extra depuffing.

When the seasons and holidays change I am always switching my bathroom and kitchen towels for a small little refresh. I love these Weezie kitchen towels and they hold up so well. If you get a bundle of 6 you get 15% off. I love having them in my gift closet to have on hand for hostess gifts.

I shared this rattan portable table lamp from Target on my stories this weekend. I think they add so much to a table scape and I love the lighting that they give. I picked mine up today and they are even better in person.

Splatterware is not cheap but Target has made an affordable version including this serving platter and also some cute bowls and plates!

Striped tablecloths will be in your entertaining arsenal forever. Do not sleep on H&M home! They have wonderful very well priced home items. This striped tablecloth comes in multiple colors and is such a good base for a table scape. This may just be what my Easter table inspiration is built around.

I need another set of glassware….always! I love the sheen on these lustered stemless wine glasses and they would go with so much.

This week was so good with new collabs and new spring launching!

ASD x Buru did not disappoint! I have two of the caftan short sets (one short and one long) and this stripe version is going to be a repeat offender all Summer long. They did sell the shorts separate this time so you can mix and match but I stuck with both pieces in the blue stripe. Sèzane is one of my favorite places to find unique pieces that aren’t overdone. Nothing against our H&M’s and J Crew but sometimes you just need something different ya know? This shell statement necklace is giving me all the good vibes and these Bracha textured hoops are a good twist on the classic gold hoop. This basket bag is such an awesome texture and shape. I have seen these Loeffler Randall shoes in pink and loved but oh my at the green!!

I have seen about five targeted ads for this no makeup makeup foundation so I finally had to pull the trigger. I will do a video for Instagram when it arrives. I am still loving the Victoria Beckham x Augustinus Bader Foundation drops but I keep rationing because they keep selling out in my color! Merit came out with Signature Lip Blush in Baby Pink, I think it would be so beautiful with a tan.

I always carry a flat clip like this in my purse. I like that is looks clean when you do a French twist and I also love that you can lean back and it not bother you. I also love these fun colored hair ties which I am also calling practical because my dark colored ties are always so hard to find in the bottom of my purse.

I love buying sunglasses from Amazon because they don’t break the bank and it’s a cheaper way to try trends. These are similar to the ones I got a few weeks ago but I like the brown on brown color way of this pair.

Clarins sent me the cutest Valentines PR package with a set of three of these Lip Perfecter glosses and I find myself constantly reaching for the 01 color. It gives your lips the prettiest glow and also provides great hydration. I will definitely be repurchasing!

If you have followed me for a while you know my love for the trusty LL Bean totes. I have had them for all my kids and most days I have one stuffed to the max for everything I need to do. Lands End has made a canvas tote with a raffia bottom that would be perfect for all your schlepping needs .

These waterproof Bracha studs are so cute. Wear them on a hike, wear them to the pool, such a good everyday earring. How cute is this cropped polka dot windbreaker? I love it paired with my favorite Amazon high waisted running shorts. I still love a good ruffle sock with athletic shoes and I came across these adorable Nike ruffle socks and they are showing sold out! I guess these are the next best ankle sock sans the ruffle. I love these pastel New Balance Sneakers….Spring in our step…literally!

I am on a mission to find the best sunscreen. I always have one thrown in every bag. Just ordered this Isdin Fusion Water magic after reading the reviews. It is supposed to absorb super quickly and not leave a film or be greasy. And PSA you can use your FSA/HSA at Dermstore! There is a tab where you can easily find all products that are eligible. I will report back!

Who is ready for Spring? I know if you live in the Northeast the answer is a resounding yes! Here in Colorado we have had the most odd Winter. Mostly non existent but leaves us wondering if it is going to be showing up later? All of our 60 degree days and sunshine have me craving lighter colors and some transitional outfits.

I am following a lot of European fashion influencers and these glasses kept showing up among them. I wasn’t sure if I was cool enough to pull them off but turns out they make you feel pretty cool so I love them! I think I’m actually going to order them in the brown with brown lenses color way also. I love Bracha jewelry. The price is right and bonus they have a huge selection of waterproof jewelry. I like to accessorize by the pool and not have to worry about switching jewelry. I love this pair for day to night. I love this star bolo necklace for layering and it would also look good for pool days as well. I am always wearing a hair tie around my wrist so bonus if they are cute! I love this set from H&M that are colorful and have little beads.

I have this gap button down ruffle shirt in denim and I will also be ordering this white. It is the perfect throw on and go blouse and it hits at a really flattering spot to accentuate your waist. I ordered this new style of slim fit mom jeans from H&M in white and went back for a lighter denim color I loved the fit so much. I am 5’6 and they hit at a perfect spot to be flattering with ballet flats. Speaking of ballet flats my latest purchase are these perfect butter yellow pair from Sèzane. I will be wearing them all spring and summer. I also love the color and shape of this Steve Madden pair. I think this color is so versatile and goes with so much. This H&M straw shopper is structured and I love the darker color. I am such a bag lady so I have totes everywhere during the summer.

Gap has been so good for over a year now so no surprise when their spring was launched and we have all the striped classic goodness that we love! I love a good striped set that can also be worn as separates. Everyone needs at least one classic boat neck striped shirt. So easy to be thrown on with any color jeans, shorts, or the matching striped pull on pants. I love packing these sets because of their versatility in building outfits on a trip. I love my Salomon XT-6 sneakers but they are so hard to find!!!! I did find very limited sizing at this retailer I have never purchased from but I know if you sign up for restocks on Shopbop they will email you if your size comes back in stock.

I am obsessed with my monogrammed Mariella Vilar Rancher hat. I have been on her waiting list since November and was so excited when I got the restock alert. I love the branded monogram and interchangeable straps and beads. I love supporting small women owned businesses and she is a hustler!

I ordered this beautiful green tie shoulder one piece and it exceeded my expectations. The color is stunning and the ruching makes it so flattering. H&M suits have historically been pretty cheeky but this one has decent coverage. I am going to pair it with this beautiful sarong mini skirt from Cadets. I love how versatile it is and I would also pair the floral sarong with a cropped white tee to go from pool to lunch or happy hour. The price cannot be beat on this striped canvas beach bag tote. It looks like Kule for a fraction of the price. I love the brown and cream striped pattern. These waterproof hoop earrings are a great basic to have and again would work for daytime and pool. I ordered this colorscience tinted sunscreen to try and I love it. I always have a sunscreen in my purse to reapply since the sun is so strong here. I have color medium and it gives the prettiest glow. These Amazon jelly flip flops were my most worn last summer and I just ordered the red to add to my collection.

Beaded Bags - I love this one pictured from Asos. I think a conversation starter purse can really transform the most basic outfit. I also love shopping for vintage purses on Etsy and have been very lucky with some I have been able to snag! I also love this stunning pink from Anthropologie.

Jelly Shoes - We have been seeing jelly shoes for a few years now and they are back and here to stay for this season. The pair pictured is Steve Madden and available in several color ways, I shared this pair from Target on Instagram earlier this week, and I just purchased these Jelly Flip Flops from Amazon in red because I wore the clear ones all last Summer and they held up extremely well for the price.

Bandana everything - We saw the bandana print enter the chat in the Fall and it has really ramped up now that stores are starting to release Spring. This Madewell silk bandana scarf is on sale and a great way to incorporate a print into your outfit, I just purchased these cute bandana scrunchies from H&M. There are still a few sizes left in this J Crew bandana print mini dress, which I scored on super sale in November! I also love this cute bandana cover up from J Crews new arrivals.

Thong Flip Flops - I think I am finally going to pull the trigger on these beautiful A Emery flip flops in this color. They don’t ever go on sale and I think a lot of the sizes will be sold out by Summer. For a more budget friendly option I like these and these from Abercrombie. Old Navy also has a pretty similar pair for under $12.

Trench/Cape Coats - I started seeing more and more of these cape coats recently. I have shared this beautiful long trench coat from Ann Taylor with a removable cape on super sale after Christmas. I love the silhouette and the cape adds some extra flair. I just purchased a barn jacket that cinches at the waist and has a cape from H&M but for some reason it isn’t available online yet. I love this cape short trench from H&M and it is a great price. I also really love this gorgeous coat from the Sèzane x Sea NY collaboration which is pricey but just so stunning.

Colorful Jewelry - I have always loved accessories and I think we are back in an accessory filled season. These Baublebar colorful drops are very reasonably priced and the perfect subtle pop of color. If you follow me on Instagram you know I own the Baublebar Joan necklace in four different colors. It is such a great statement necklace and can be worn year round.

90’s Sneakers - Think Princess Diana with her Eagles sweatshirt and bike shorts. I personally love these New Balance 9060 but I’m seeing that the new “it girl” sneaker brand is Asics and I love this color way at Madewell. I do think the benefit from the chunkier sneakers is that it does elongate your legs when worn with tube socks. I have been into following a lot of European fashion influencers and they are wearing them with dainty floral cotton dresses. We shall see if that trend makes it out of the big cities.

Lace - We saw the entrance of lace last summer but I will say I think it has only multiplied for this spring and summer. I don’t know what kind of looks I would get showing up in a sheer shirt or skirt at school pickup but I am very excited to wear these lace Few Moda shorts that I own in two colors. You can dress them up with tights and a sweater and heels or a t shirt and flip flops. I love how versatile they are. I do own the Dôen pair and I have to say I prefer the longer fit of the Few Moda pair. I also just ordered this pair from Amazon to compare.

I look back at pictures of me (and my first baby girl Caroline!) and think look at my long (dark!!!) hair! I had never had any issues growing my hair and pregnancy and nursing made it even better.

Fast forward to having two more kids and nursing and then then the depletion of all those hormones and my hair was a wreck. I also started dying my hair lighter because of my genetically plentiful grays so adding in bleach and the lack of the hormones and I was missing my thick longer hair.

It wasn’t terrible but I was just having issues getting it any longer or healthier than this pic above at the ends.

The first big change I made was my shampoo and conditioner. I had been using Kerastase for almost two years and I had noticed it wasn’t doing as well for my hair as it did when I first started using it. It was hard to give up because it smells heavenly! I first switched to a K18 shampoo and conditioner because I love the K18 Leave in Mask. I didn’t love either. I still use the mask at least once a week and it is a great product if you haven’t tried. I had started hearing a lot about the brand Rôz, created by a hair stylist, and was planning on buying during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale but much to my dismay it sold out! I ended up ordering the shampoo and conditioner bundle straight from the Rôz website and after one use I was ( and still am!) hooked. It smells amazing and immediately my hair was smoother and healthier. I then ordered the Milk Hydrating Serum and Santa Lucia Heat Protectant Styling Oil and love them both as well. I love this system so much that I ordered the Mini Essentials Kit because now I cannot travel without these products. Another reason I love this brand is because they sell huge refill pouches that I can refill my shampoo and conditioner and also my travel set whenever needed! I never run out of shampoo and conditioner at the same time so I find this so convenient!

I am very skeptical of any “miracle” pill so I was very slow to try Nutrafol. I feel like it was in one of those influencer waves where I was seeing it everywhere. During the Prime day deals I pulled the trigger and well let me tell you…IT WORKS!!!! I have been taking Nutrafol Women every single day for six months and wow. My hair stylist can tell my growth and overall hair health are so much better. I do not know all about the exact science but I can personally say my nail health has also gotten better since I started taking it.

Small things I have incorporated are using The Towel by Crown Affair after washing my hair. My hair holds water and this towel definitely gets my hair to the damp stage before I dry it. I also extend my blowouts by using The Crown Affair Dry Shampooo to freshen up that way I only have to use heat a couple days a week. I do my own blowouts with the Shark Flex style blow dryer. If I can do my own blowout with this tool it is fool proof!

I love Drybar Blowout Defense Spray and I do feel like it shortens your blowout time. I also just recently have been trying the Rôz Root Lift Volumizing spray and I do like it better than the Moroccan Oil Root Lift mousse I was using previously.

I love Thanksgiving so much! Getting dressed up….even if it is just to walk around your kitchen, enjoying great company and a grand kickoff to the holiday season. It is all so wonderful!

I have been collecting tablescape pieces for years but I have heard recently from so many people that they get overwhelmed by “not knowing where to start”. I have gathered some great affordable pieces that you would have for years to come to make your Thanksgiving table one to remember. It does not cost a lot of money to make your table look “fancy”. One of my favorite hot tips is to go to your local ARC, Goodwill, Salvation Army and buy 0.99 vases. You can give them to your guests as a favor because they are so cheap or just amass a collection for yourself that way next time you set the table you have plenty of vessels for your florals to choose from.

I actually just restocked and I think I spent around $15 on eight vases. I was able to secure two sets of four matching vases.

I always start my table idea with the tablecloth I am going to use. That is your backdrop to run wild with. I am doing this fun plaid this year that I picked up at Homegoods in September. I love all the colors and of course anything plaid. I got these amazing chargers at Target and ended up going back for the red as well to use for Christmas and Valentines. I bought a set of these deer dinner plates three years ago and have used them so so much. Napkins are so affordable and World Market is one of my go tos. They have awesome block print napkins to use with solid tablecloths and pretty much every solid color you can imagine. I have also gotten some beautiful napkins from Target and Amazon over the years. As far as napkin rings are concerned I use them about 50% of the time. I also love tying a beautiful velvet ribbon around the napkin. I get napkin rings everywhere I just got a set of vintage Santa napkin rings at Arc when I was restocking my vases. Amazon is a great place to buy novelty wine glasses and bonus you won’t cry when one is broken! I got these beautiful tortoise glasses at Homegoods. I couldn’t get them in my cart fast enough. A pop of tortoise is always welcome on my tables! For water glasses Target always has wonderful seasonal glasses reasonably priced and Wal-Mart has the best tortoise water glasses and you won’t believe the price for a set of four. I have four sets and if I wasn’t using the tortoise wine glasses those would be the ones I used.

As far as florals are concerned Trader Joes is always my go to and I just buy more than enough and go wild when I get home. I normally take a picture of my table scheme so that when I am in Trader Joes I can plan accordingly. In the picture above I just reused some I had arranged earlier that week. On my real table I will have them drenched in florals. I always add candles throughout the florals for different heights and colors.

As you can tell “dressing” my table is a lot like dressing myself. Trial and error and there isn’t really any scientific formula. I just like to have fun with it! Sephora always has the best gift sets available for the holidays. I love sets like this Summer Fridays gloss set and this Touchland set because they are great to break up for teacher gifts or stocking stuffers. I always stock up on my favorite “every season” candles the Nest Bamboo and the Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt Candle. These are both very clean universal scents that will leave your house smelling amazing. The Sephora sale is one of the only times you will find these candles on sale. They also make wonderful hostess gifts during the holidays!

Skincare

I have shouted from the rooftops my love for the Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads. They have single handedly changed my skin for the better. I have a more even skin tone and my lines are very reduced. They come in several different strengths. I use the sensitive skin formula, they also have a universal formula and an extra strength formula. I am going to stock a couple additional boxes for myself since they are 30% off. I am on probably my eighth tube of the Aestura 365 Barrier Cream so I am also going to stock up for myself. If you need a good basic Winter moisturizer this is your girl. It isn’t too thick but definitely does the trick helping your moisture barrier as the air drys out. My favorite YSE Beauty Eye Patches are now sold at Sephora. I love these for a good morning depuff. These would be great to have on hand during the holidays for party prep and the next day! My favorite combo is the Clarins V-Facial Depuffing Mask with the YSE Beauty Eye Masks. You will be back to glowing in no time. My favorite eye cream to wear under makeup these days is the Shiseido Beneficence Smoothing Eye Cream. It looks so good under concealer and helps your concealer blend so well. I am restocking during the sale.

Makeup

I am so blown away with the Kosas Soulglazer Mascara. Best new mascara I’ve tried in years. The brush and formula are both amazing. I am going to buy a spare. I also need to restock my Makeup by Mario Bronzer. I love the creamy formula for Winter and dry skin and it is too “glowy” to where you look like you are wearing Summer makeup. I wear shade Medium.

Hair

I am so in love the the Rōz Haircare line. I have been using the Foundation Hydrating Shampoo and Foundation Hydrating Conditioner for over a month and it has changed my hair significantly. I have also been using the Rōz Hair Serum and Heat Protectant Hair Oil and I cannot sing their praises loud enough. The serum and oil also come in this awesome gift set which would be a great buy if you want to try! I want to try the Root Lift Volumizing Spray so I will be purchasing and will report back. I have also seen some crazy results from the Crown Affair Air Dry Mousse so it is also in my cart. I love the Crown Affair Dry Shampoo and Leave in Conditioner so this Crown Affair set would be an awesome deal if you have wanted to try either of those products. I have used the Dry Bar Blowout spray for a few months now and it is great. Definitely shortens your blowout time and makes your hair super shiny. I use it along with my Shark Blowout tool and it resembles a salon blowout.

Body

I am still loving the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil. It is one of those things that just makes a normal shower feel a little more luxurious. This L'Occitane set includes a shower oil, body oil, and hand cream. would be great if you want to try or also to give as a gift. Luna graciously gifted me their Skin Support Oil back in August and I just ran out a few days ago. I love that it rubs in very easily and doesn’t leave you feeling “greasy” even though it is an oil. It has Vitamin C and Arnica and my skin is visibly smoother after using. I alternate between the Luna Oil and the Trader Joes Vitamin C lotion and my skin is definitely tighter and more even.
